Presented .45 cal Glock Sidearm carried by Florida Park Police Capt. Buddy Giddens and Lt. Biagio Angiuli at a retirement ceremony at the 17,000 sq. ft. Ribault Club Mansion on Ft. George Island, Jacksonville, Florida which was part of the Talbot Island Park System. Park Manager Bob Joseph presented my Park Police Retirement Shadow Box (First of its kind).

Anyone that knows me knows that I don’t ever settle for second place in anything! Leaders are born to lead and followers are born to be jealous and bitch about everything a real leader accomplishes. Yep, Thats a famous quote from Det. Elliot Ness himself. I Thank the countless people that have trained me, were my supervisors, colleagues, regulators, prosecutors and the academy staff(s) that allowed me to become so successful and spread my wings and become as diversified as a cop can get. Obviously your guidance, counseling and training paid off. For those of you that worked the countless year long organized environmental crime and white collar investigations with me...these awards are just as much for you as they are for me. Thanks for nominating me for such an incredible display of professionalism and selflessness. These are just some of the awards I have received and I thank the Florida Marine Patrol, Office of Investigations, Florida Park Police, EPA, DOJ, FBI, USAO, NCIS, DCIS, Dept. of Interior, Department of Commerce, US Fish and Wildlife, 4th Judicial Circuit Special Investigations Unit and so many others I worked with and became a sworn agent in their departments and units. You all made me so successful and for standing beside me through the ridiculous ordeal made out of my injuries received in the line of duty and further receiving the National Police Purple Heart I Say THANKS for your TRUST in me!!!! Those few corrupt cops will meet their Maker and have a lot of explaining to do someday for destroying someone’s life and kicking them while they are ALREADY DOWN!!
No one should ever have to go through what I did. Abuse of your powers as a police officer is the worst crime I can think of let alone the ethics of it. I dont know how you sleep at night!
The Florida Marine Patrol, where I started, was dismantled as an agency by an amendment in the late 1990’s after 87 years of law enforcement with over 440 sworn officers. This was Florida’s OLDEST State Police Agency and therefore I have added a page in dedication to the hard working men and women of the Florida Marine Patrol...The Greatest Agency and Job a police officer could ever want. I was part of a tight family in the Jacksonville, Florida District 8 (1A) Office and I greatly miss those days!!
A separate page will be a tribute to the Office of Investigations (also dismantled and later became the Bureau of Environmental Investigations under “New Management” and OUT with the OLD!
A NEW Page Also DEDICATED to the great and hard working police officers of The Florida Park Police which has survived an incredible amount of changes and with a great history of its own. It is now the uniformed bureau of FDEP which also has the Bureau of Environmental Investigations and the Bureau of Emergency Response who all are dedicated to preserving and protecting Florida’s diverse and fragile environment. These are NOT the “litter patrol”!!! These are highly trained Special Agent I and II’s who risk their lives working undercover every day taking down million dollar national and international companies who commit a massive amount of environmental felonies daily. If the public knew what these companies did on a day to day basis you would probably want to live in a bubble, not eat anything, not touch the soil in your yard and definitely not drink the water or eat the fish from the rivers. Thanks to this agency I helped build with the original 13 other investigators from the Marine Patrol you dont have to live like that!!
You don’t get the title of America’s Highest Decorated Cop without having some incredible trainers, FTO’s, schooling, great supervisors, great colleagues, trust, honor, ethics and a WHOLE LOT OF DAMN LUCK....
