I am the 2006 Highest Decorated Police Officer in America and the Inductee into the American Police Hall of Fame after an incredible career with the Florida Marine Patrol, The Office of Investigations (OOI), The Bureau of Environmental Investigations and the Florida Park Police.  I am also deputized with 7 federal agencies including the Department of Justice and US Attorneys Office to prosecute federal cases and have full federal credentials and powers of arrest as a United States Federal Agent.  I am also the former President and Chairman of the Board for the most successful environmental crimes task force in the history of this country.  With the help of a few brave FMP Investigators, We broke off from FMP when they merged with the wildlife agency and we created the brand new Office of Investigations to go after “Al Capone” type crimes in the Southeast.  This opened the door to an incredible undercover career deep in organized crime.

With the help of the task force I filed the first ever Environmental Organized Crime Case for prosecution in the State of Florida after 13 months undercover. With the help of the same task force I served the first ever four part search warrant that was served simultaneously by 100 federal, state, and municipal police officers and a huge crew of environmental regulators and specialists on four different properties in three different counties and in three different judicial circuits.  This was unheard of at this time in history and techniques used by me while working as an undercover organized crime Special Agent were way ahead of their times and never used in environmental cases before.  Though my career was cut in half by being poisoned with Arsenic while undercover on the largest environmental and white collar corporate crimes case of all times that included several government agencies as conspirators, I managed to serve 99% of all search warrants for my agency up till my poisoning and transfer to a light duty assignment with the Park Police after a 10 month hospital recovery.  The case by the way disappeared and all my documents were seized and never seen again. 

To this day there is no recollection by any persons on the case that it ever existed even though hundreds of man hours were spent and even testing done on surface water, soil samples and ground water showing incredible amounts of a carcinogen banned by the USEPA which has the main ingredient: Arsenic!! My Department has failed to recognize to this day that I was injured in the line of duty and therefore withholds 34% of the pay I should be receiving yet THREE independent federal and national boards reviewed the information and thus not only issued the Police Purple Heart For In The Line Of Duty Injury but The Medal Of Honor, Bravery, Silver Cross, Silver Star, Public Service, Excellence in Investigation, Excellence in Arrest and more. I now am retired and WRITING A BOOK UNDER CONTRACT about my career and everything that went on including the information about the case that never was investigated and disappeared off everyones radar mysteriously. 

In 1991, I went to the St. Augustine Technical School in 1992 full time for about 6 months to become “certifiable” as a municipal or deputy sheriff after attending the University of North Florida where I did not do well.  Upon completion at the top of my class at St. Augustine I immediately was hired by the Florida Marine Patrol and went to the State Police Academy in Quincy, Florida near Tallahassee.  This was a full time school about 15 weeks in length.  Here you learn how to be a Trooper and goto specialized schooling to be able to enforce the complicated laws in the field you are in.. i.e: maritime law, fisheries law, natural resources, environmental, shellfish, vessel crash investigations and safety enforcement, boating operation, federal fisheries laws, US immigration laws and border laws and much more.  Upon my graduation from the State Academy I was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida (Population 1.1 million) and worked as a Florida Marine Patrol Officer until being promoted to a Field Training Officer, Instructor, Homicide Investigator, Environmental Crimes Investigator, and later a Special Agent 1 and a Special Agent II working undercover organized  and corporate environmental crimes and many complex long term investigations......
